Sasha Webb, Health Promotion Agency / Te Hiringa Hauora, Wellington

There’s a mountain of research on youth health and wellbeing, but it’s hard to find the time to keep up with it all. Join the Health Promotion Agency for a speedy summary of the latest findings in New Zealand youth research. We’ll cover topics including:
• Mental health & wellbeing
• Smoking/Vaping
• Alcohol & drugs
• Sexual health and more

We’ll also highlight data tools that you can use in funding applications and provide tips for organisations wanting to evaluate projects and activities.

This workshop will be led by Sasha Webb, who worked for Young Enterprise for 10 years before becoming the Senior Advisor Young People at Te Hiringa Hauora / Health Promotion Agency. She is particularly interested in wellbeing and system change, and how those two concepts can combine to create positive impacts for rangatahi. Sasha has an amazing partner, three adult stepsons and a two-year old who sometimes likes to sleep.
